Sorry, I'm late!

I guess you can say that I have been slacking on my blogging, my sister was sweet enough to point that out.

I have no excuse for my non-existence, just pure laziness. That, anddd my life hasn't been the most exciting. However, I must say this weekend was enjoyable. Saturday night I went to the movies to see, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. As much as I was looking forward to see this movie, I was just as skeptical about spending my Saturday afternoon balling my eyes out, in which I knew I would do.

I managed to keep it together throughout most of the movie. It was a very touching movie, but something about hearing strangers sniffling and blowing their nose in the movie theatre really does the opposite of making me cry. Once I got into the car, and thought about the movie and poor little Oskar, I nearly lost it. A waterfall of tears, if you would. Poor Johnny doesn't know what to do with himself when I react this way.
After the movie, we had arranged dinner plans. Therefore, we made a pit stop at Stewart's to get some napkins to wipe my face. Besides me thinking that this was completely embarrassing, I couldn't stop smelling the scent of Stewart's on the napkin. If you have ever entered one of these establishments you know exactly what scent I am talking about.

For dinner, we went to a hibachi restaurant. I loveee hibachi! Delish! For those who have yet to experience a hibachi dinner, you typically sit with strangers being that the table calls for 8-10 people. Our partly only consisted of 4 people, which means we had room for strangers. I guess its part of the experience- meeting new people. Yawn.

Lucky for us, we were grouped with 3 children under the age of 8, and one infant baby who sat immediately to my right- and of course their parents. Don't get me wrong, I love children. But, why were they out eating at 8:30? Lets not forget the cooks squirt sake in your mouth. Not being a tattletale, but these kids were definitely under age. **Disclaimer, these children were not taking part in the sake shots**

Needless to say, I would give the night a 10!
